I hate to tell you how close the lens (and my hand) were to this thing. See the jumbo grasshopper in its jaws?
I recently saw my first rattlesnake as well:
That is a Mohave green. More deadly than most rattlesnakes for some reason.
So besides the bears, lions (no tigers), and snakes, it is really a wonderful place to live.
