Rachel Rides

A bike that is.
She was able to pedal it for about 100 yards. Her problem right now is not ability, but mentality. Ethan was riding for at least a year at this point because he wanted to badly, like dad. Rachel, let's just say she's an individual who is usually very content with the status quo, Just like her mother.

Ethan spent the time today learning how to drop off curbs and steps. He finally figured out that standing on the pedals makes it much easier

Floor is in!

After a lot of details I did not bore you with (backfill, pouring footers, install plumbing, place rebar) the basement floor is finally in. What this means practically is that framing the house starts on monday!!

The floor has since been cut into 4X4 ft squares. We are planning to finish the basement floor by simply staining the concrete, so it should look quite cool, and be very durable.
