We met up with the relatives at the Bowling alley at Texas station for family bowl time.

After meeting with family for the bowl-a-thon, we went to the hotel and changed into clothes for the evening festivities, celebrating Uncle Don and Aunt Betty's 60th anniversary.

He did lighten up by the end of the night and enjoyed himself.
The aftermath, however was that all the kids slept the next day until 0900. That is simply unheard of in this family. Like a perfect storm. Someone is always up be 630 or so. Mom and dad simply enjoyed the nice quite time to get ready in an unrushed manner and talk for a while. That was the biggest treat of the weekend!
