Skating?

Speaking of home school, the large co-op got a skating day at the local rink.

The kids were hilarious to watch, but they really learned fast, and after an hour were sorta skating....a little.

Valentines

Heather hosted the home school Valentines party at our house.

Got down to Anthem park for a day in the sun. So nice to have temps in the 70's. Below is a pic of a happy wife.

Willow Lake Hike

Got to have a friday afternoon hike with the family. Kids lvoe climbing the rocks around Willow and Watson lakes.

I've never seen the lake so full. What a great looking crew.

Had a few inches overnight which of course disappeared in a day or so.


Our reservoirs are full which is a first for the 6 years we have been here. Very wet winter. Not much time on trails for Eric as a result.

At least the kids look fabulous in Mr Haley's jersies.

Awanas Derby

Ethan and Rachel got to build cars and participate this year.
In this heat, Ethan races Rachel (other Green car) and friend Hannah


Ethan came away with a 3rd place trophy this year, barely beating out his sister.
